Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use similar technologies — like `localStorage` — for the same purposes. This policy covers all of them under “cookies” for simplicity.

We group the cookies adgamify sets into three categories:

• Strictly necessary — session cookies set by Clerk, our authentication provider, so you can stay signed in and so we can tell your requests apart from anyone else's. These cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in.
• Functional — cookies and local storage that remember in-app preferences, such as a draft you're editing or a UI setting, so the product feels consistent between visits.
• Analytics — Google Analytics cookies on our public marketing pages, which help us understand aggregate traffic (pages visited, referral source, rough location) so we can improve the site. These do not run inside a Customer's published game.

A Game a Customer publishes and embeds may use its own cookies or local storage purely to run the game (for example, to prevent someone from re-entering a single-entry leaderboard from the same browser). We do not run our marketing-site analytics inside embedded games.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics generally using Google's browser add-on. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to adgamify.

We may update this Cookie Policy as our tooling changes. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. See also our Privacy Policy for how we handle the data these cookies help collect.
