Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 25, 2026

This policy explains what data adgamify collects, why, and how it's handled — both for people who run a workspace on adgamify (“Customers”) and people who play a Customer's game (“Players”).

1. Scope and roles

This Privacy Policy applies to Gleyder Hernandez, operating as adgamify as a sole proprietor (“adgamify,” “we”) and covers two kinds of people:

  • Customers — the marketers and agencies who sign up for an adgamify account. For Customer account data, adgamify is the data controller.
  • Players — people who play a game a Customer built and publishes. For entry data Players submit inside a Customer's game (Player Data), adgamify acts as a data processor / service provider on the Customer's behalf; the Customer is the controller and is responsible for the notices Players see and for honoring Player rights. See our Data Processing Agreement for the processor terms Customers agree to.

2. Information we collect

  • Account data — name, work email, and password/authentication details, handled through our authentication provider, Clerk. We also store your workspace settings, plan, and team roles.
  • Billing data — when you purchase a plan or Event Pass, payment is processed by PayPal; adgamify receives confirmation of payment and order identifiers, not your full card or PayPal credentials.
  • Player entry data — the fields a Customer configures on their game (typically an email address, and optionally a name and score), submitted by Players when they play. This is stored in our Postgres database and made available to the Customer who owns that game.
  • Usage and device data — pages visited, game interactions, IP address, browser and device type, collected directly and via Google Analytics on our marketing site. See our Cookie Policy for details and opt-out options.
  • Support communications — anything you send us via /contact or email.

3. How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and secure the adgamify platform;
  • To authenticate accounts and process payments through our providers;
  • To let Customers build, publish, and review results for their games;
  • To send transactional communications (billing receipts, verification codes, service notices);
  • To understand aggregate product usage and improve the platform;
  • To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents;
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell Player Data or Customer account data, and we do not use Player Data captured through a Customer's game for our own marketing purposes.

4. Who we share data with

We share data only as needed to run the service:

  • Clerk — authentication and account/session management.
  • PayPal — payment processing for one-time and recurring purchases.
  • Our hosting and database infrastructure provider — to run our Postgres database and application servers (DigitalOcean).
  • Google Analytics — aggregate analytics for our own marketing site, as described in the Cookie Policy.
  • The Customer who owns a game — a Player's entry data is shared with that Customer, since collecting it on the Customer's behalf is the purpose of the platform.
  • Law enforcement or regulators, where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

5. International data transfers

adgamify and its providers may process data in countries other than where you or your Players are located. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for transfers of personal data outside your jurisdiction.

6. Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active, and Player Data for as long as the Customer's workspace retains the related game, plus a reasonable period afterward for backups and legal compliance. Customers can request deletion of a game and its captured entries at any time; on account closure we delete or anonymize personal data within a commercially reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Customers can exercise these rights for their account data by contacting us directly. Players who want to exercise rights over data captured through a Customer's game should contact that Customer first, since they control the campaign the data was collected for; we assist Customers in responding to those requests as described in our DPA. You can also reach us directly at privacy@adgamify.com.

8. Children's privacy

adgamify is not directed at children, and Customer account holders must be 18 or older. Some Customer games may be played by a general audience that includes minors depending on the Customer's own campaign; Customers are responsible for configuring age-appropriate data collection and for complying with applicable children's privacy laws (such as COPPA) for their own campaigns.

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and provider-managed authentication via Clerk — to protect data stored on adgamify. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above, and where appropriate, we'll notify account owners by email.

11. Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@adgamify.com or via /contact.
